Take a look at this view from Vitemölla. This structure was built in 1913, a perfect example of classic Swedish coastal architecture. I’ve always been drawn to the windows; there is something about the design and the light that makes the whole building look like a beautiful cream cake resting on the beach.
Vitemölla is nestled in the southeastern part of Skåne, in the heart of the picturesque Österlen region. It’s the kind of place that naturally sparks creativity.
On the Digital Canvas
Currently, I am busy preparing for my next exhibition. I’ve been experimenting with new software to create digital borders for my work. To be honest, I love them! However, I gave a lecture two weeks ago, and the students weren’t quite as enthusiastic about the borders as I was.
It gave me some food for thought. I’ve decided to take my process more seriously and really lean into my own vision. Sometimes, “doing your own thing” means listening to your gut over the critics. I’m excited to see where this path takes my new pieces.
