I have written two previous blog posts about the stunning results you can get from an iPhone 14. And that is true in some situations, especially in semi-dark situations. Two weeks ago, I wrote a blog post about the stunning colours it can produce without shadows. But occasionally, I run into stations like this where it can’t be trusted.
I wanted to catch a picture of my cat situated ideally in a ray of light now gone. The phone has smoothed out the contrast and made the picture dull. This is taken with Apple’s camera app. I will abandon that and see if it becomes any better with other apps.
But so far, I can’t trust it for serious work.
